window shot at north salina business

the front window on a north salina business was shot out with two rounds from a medium- to large-caliber weapon over the weekend, according to a salina police report.

the bullets that broke the window at advanced engine & machine, 1206 n. ninth, also struck a container of tire glue and a metal peg board display rack inside the building, said capt. mike sweeney of the salina police department.

the shooting occurred between 3:30 p.m. saturday and 8 a.m. monday.

damage was estimated at $1,050.
