three rings and other items were found with the bones of an unidentified white or asian woman between the ages of 33 and 56. those items can be viewed on the journal’s website, salina.com.

the woman was believed to be between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall and was wearing a dark brown wig and artificial fingernails at the time of her death, according to a statement from the kansas city police department being distributed by the salina police department.

the woman was murdered between 1995 and 2005, and her bones were discovered may 7 in the 1700 block of north 51st terrace in kansas city.
